As part of Land Rover's 'Adventure is in our DNA' brand promise, we brought together the UK’s top outdoor experts, including Chris Packham, Alice Roberts, Tristan Gooley and Neil Oliver, to create a unique podcast adventure series for the whole family. Recorded entirely in binaural sound to create a truly immersive experience, we wanted to encourage families to seek outdoor adventures of their own.
The Podcast won 2 Golds and 1 Bronze at the British Podcast Awards and was also awarded the People's Choice Award and Silver in the Wave category at the CreativePool Awards.
If you live in the UK, they say you’re very rarely ever more than 77 miles away from the coast. To highlight this fact we partnered with National Trust to inspire Discovery Sport adventures - a challenge to quite literally drive until you run out of land. Posters were strategically placed in busy towns to inspire those dreary morning commutes, whilst waiting for the bus or train.
Drive until you run out of land. New Discovery Sport from Land Rover.
SOME CARS GO FROM A TO B. WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND.
Q5. X3. XC60. These aren’t really names. Discovery Sport. That’s a name. So’s Land Rover. It’s our name and it means Adventure.
For this campaign we’re focusing on just one unique, differentiating feature of the Discovery Sport - the unrivalled space that separates the car from all others in its class. Specifically, the seven seats in a 5 + 2 arrangement and the generous legroom.
Tell us your 5+2 GO and you could win your own Discovery Sport adventure…
We extended the invitation across social channels, picking the best ones and making them happen - with an adventure trip to a National Trust Holiday property. And, of course, the use of a Discovery Sport to test drive for the weekend.
